Resources Skills and Cost
The project is estimated to require 60 days of IS Applications resources. This will be made up of 48 days prior to year end at the end of July and 12 after this.
The following IS Application Project Services resources are expected to be involved in the project:
- Project Manager for preparation of project brief, project management tasks.
- Programme Manager for input as required.
- Business analyst to interview stakeholders in order to understand and gather requirements for Shared Parental Leave.
The majority of the technical input will come from the IS Applications Development Services teams to create the new Extra Information Types in Oracle and make the required updates to the HRMI Universe. There will also be involvement from Production Managemet to support this work.
The HR Systems Manager and the Devolved College HR Business Lead will be the main points of contact during the technical design and build. HR Systems and Devolved College HR will both sign off the Project Brief and work together to specify the reports. HR Systems will then create the new reports for the College and provide training. Devolved College HR will carry out testing on the created reports.
Project Governance
This project comes under the governance of the SCE Portfolio Projects. June Bell as the Project Sponsor will provide project updates to the Portfolio & Programme Owner Bruce Nelson, College Registrar. June will also use the HR Exec as required. Susan Duff as Project Manager will report to the Portfolio & Programme Manager, Susan McKeown, IS Applications.
Regular project meetings with the key stakeholders will be held at a frequency appropriate to the stage of the project.
