Impact and Dependencies
If the project fails to deliver the outlined benefits in the agreed timescales, the University will require to continue with the fragented and inconsistent data and processes which result in time consuming manipulation of data for each application. The impact is greatest on the Athena SWAN representatives who have to collate all the information from different sources into the application. And also Devolved HR and schools who have to manually track the data and provide when requested.
Service or Project | Description of Impact or Dependency |
HR & Payroll Annual Maintenance 15/16 (PPP007) | This is a compliance project where there have been a number of recent patches delivered unexpectedly. Resources have been required from HR and Payroll Business Areas to carry out testing. This is the same resource that would be working on this project. There is one further Oracle patch which may be required and could impact the resources for this project. |
Online Payslips and P60s (PPP002) | This project will require some of the same resources. |
| Migrate Oracle HR Payroll and Pensions Application (PPP004) | This project will affect Athena SWAN where the environments are unavailable. Business resources will also be required in both projects. |
| HESA (HRS090) | This is a compliance project which will take priority over Athena Swan should there be any conflicts for development and applicaitons management resource. The same resources from HR and Payroll This project will cover any changes required to either collect the data in Oracle HR & Payroll, submit the data to HESA or produce any supporting BI Suite reports. |
eRecruitment Upgrade (HRS089) |
This is not a compliance project, not does it have a hard deadline. eRecruitment work will require the same HR Business Systems team resources
