A pilot is underway for programmes under the School of Informatics and School of Geosciences to encourage students to commit to PGT programme offers by paying a deposit to secure their conditional offer. The pilot has highlighted concerns for the college's Admissions Team and Management Accountant as the overhead in processing these deposits is significant.
So that this policy can be rolled out to other schools in the college the team need recommendations on how to make the deposit process more efficient.
This project will undertake a business analysis review of the PGT student deposit processes:
- Description of the current As Is processes highlighting the pain points
- Set of requirements that define the desired To Be process
- Options paper with proposed recommendations for process improvements including high level costings, timescales, resource requirements (Any technical recommendations would be implemented as a Phase 2 project).
