Achievements in Last Period

  • TEST platform successfully migrated to the Metrostretch cluster.
  • LIVE platform to be migrated to Metrostretch cluster before project can be closed. This is provisionally scheduled for the beginning of February to allow ITI to complete firmware updates to switches (and allow the move to take place without impacting the Live service); Change request submitted to Go CAB.
  • Closure milestone date now moved to 21/02/20.

Issues

  • No major issues but an outstanding action preventing project closure (migration of VMs to stretched cluster) which has been impacted by UCU industrial action, the associated change freeze, and DevTech and ITI resource availability. As a result a PICCL has been added to push the closure out into February.

Next Steps

  • Migrate Live servers to Metrostretch cluster to ensure platform is on infrastructure with verified level of DR.
  • complete project closure.
