There is a need to identify applications, databases and infrastructure which will come to the end of their working life in the next 3 years, and to plan upgrades, migrations or replacements accordingly.

The main areas that will need to be updated in 16/17 or 17/18 are:

• Oracle (database)
• MySQL
• PHP

There may also be a need to migrate applications that are on end of life infrastructure, which has not yet been identified.

This project is to identify the components that will come to the end of their working life and to plan accordingly. The analysis has been undertaken and the highest priority work identified as discrete projects. The budget originally allocated to this project has been transferred to those projects, and so this project has been withdrawn.
