What would happen in this phase?

This is the phase of the project where the 'doing' happens.  This would vary greatly from project to project, but would involve activities such an analysis, research, design, building etc.

Project monitoring continues throughout this phase to ensure that the project stays on track, according to the criteria laid out in the 'Plan' phase.  The Project Logs (see bottom-left menus, you must be logged in to see these) are maintained throughout.

Reqular updates can be added to the Project Journal (see righthand menu of project home page) to keep stakeholders informed.

Project owners have the facility to add blank (free-format) pages to add their own content or to choose from a series of templates such as: -

  • System Design Document
  • User Acceptance Test Plan
  • And many more
