This project seeks to replicate and tailor the DataStore best practices used at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer (IGC) for managing research data on DataStore for CMVM . The project involves establishing structured file-sets for research projects, business operations and associated data, defining clear ownership and entitlements, and providing archival workflows.
In March 2025, the UK higher education and research sector, in collaboration with Jisc, entered negotiations with Elsevier, Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, Wiley and Sage to reset the UK’s open access agreements to achieve greater equity, inclusivity and financial sustainability. These negotiations aim to secure fair, equitable and sustainable agreements that meet the evolving needs of UK universities and the research community.
This project will support the internal review of the new agreements and coordinate the communication with University stakeholders.
