Project Summary

Following internal audit recommendations, it has been observed that the Mac user community has permanent admin privileges on their workstations/Laptops. In order to bring these devices in line with university security policy the decision has been made to implement the 3rd party software ‘Privileges’.

 

The project scope was

 

Ensure the upgrade of student computer lab, teaching and meeting room PC's across the College estate.

There are regular requests for programme level feeds for Learn to allow Schools to provide Learn spaces for programmes with all students from a specific programme enrolled.

Some schools manually manage spaces with programme enrolments currently.  This allows the schools to provide students on programmes with programme level information within a course site in Learn.  Programme level assessment has been discussed at various Curriculum Transformation meetings and this work will help to support that those outcomes.
