Microsoft released Windows 11 (W11) in October 2021, and announced the end of support for Windows 10 (W10) as October 2025.

Upgrade all compatible managed Windows 10 devices to Windows 11.

After the completion date for the upgrade to W11 remove any devices still running W10 from the Supported Desktop Service.

Project Summary
The Consortium of Certificate Authorities have proposed that the lifespan of TLS certificates be reduced to 90 days. ISG issues more than 1748 certificates and it will not be possible to manually renew these if the lifespan is to be reduced. Although there is no date yet for the imposition of this change, the University wishes to prepare a process to automate certificate renewal.
The project was to deliver an ACME based solution for updating certificates on a number of common technologies that consume certificates.
Project Summary
Mainstream support for Office 2016 ended on October 13, 2020, and extended support for most editions of Office 2016 will end on October 14, 2025, the same day as Windows 10.
Desktop CAB agreed that it is the time to update the Supported Desktop version of Microsoft Office to Office 2021 as the feature gap was too large after 7 years since Office 2016 was deployed.
