Rollout Steps

Universe should be situated in /csg - finance/expenses

BI (Dev to Test)

Using the Promotion management tool in the Central management Console , promote the FINANCE_expenses_FIN098 Universe form BOREP-DEV to BOREP-TEST.

Once this is complete , open the Universe designer and export the Universe.

Then Promote the Reports using the PM tool.

Finally, using the BI launch pad or universe designer confirm that the connections for the universe match up to the hosting environment (i.e. if necessary change from boexpenses_dev to boexpenses_test). In launch pad open a blank report and attempt to draw data from the universe. If the attempt fails the connections may need adjusted, you will see similar behaviour if tested through the universe design tool.

BI (Test to Live)
